Our creative team at the dutch university of applied sciences of Avans has taken on the assignment of building a small scale creative solution against the Russian hiv epidemic.
Our field of study, Communication & Multimedia Design specializes at designing new ways of communicating from start to finish. Research pointed out an STD clinic in the vicinity of st. Petersburg, the same paper also pointed out a specific moment, the moment of treatment when the patient can be informed about hiv/aids.
Because we think this is a good moment to pass on our "box" (solution will almost certainly be in a box), we would like for you to answer some questions. your expertise would be incredibly valuable to us. Especially stigmatization of HIV patients in these clinics is a subject thats difficult to find any information about.
these questions will not take too long.
-is there a stigma against HIV/AIDS patients coming from Russian clinic personnel
-would clinic personnel (doctors) accept this help coming from a western organization like ours
-Are there or were there any HIV prevention programs at this std clinic.
-Does the personnel take an effort to educate (non HIV) patients about HIV.
